New Forensic Evidence of Pauline Authorship of the Book of Hebrews

Here is the abstract of David Pitcher’s article.

Abstract

Thompson, perhaps an expert in the theology and rhetoric in the Pauline Epistles has stated that all examiners’ “attempts to find a literary relationship between Hebrews and Paul have been unsuccessful, for all of the verbal contacts can be explained by the use of commonplace expressions in early Christian literature.” He expressed that “no one posits Pauline authorship for Hebrews” quoting authors who noted “literary reminiscences of Pauline letters” and that “all … attempts to find a literary relationship between Hebrews and Paul have been unsuccessful, for all of the verbal contacts can be explained by the use of commonplace expressions in early Christian literature.” He concluded, “the relationship between Hebrews and the Pauline tradition is minimal.”
